Day 5 Aug 23 Norseman to Esperance

Well today was more leisurely start compared to yesterday as we only had about 200 kms to travel.
Russ was back outside on the gas burner to cook some toast for breakfast as there was nothing in the rooms to help out with that.
Very quite this morning as we fill up round 7.30 am - could stand in the middle of the street without a car in sight.
Cruised out of town again , back through more farming country which again is looking fantastic maybe even getting too wet.
The closer we got to the coast the more it looked like rain and that is exactly what is happening at the moment. Lots of rain but we have a lovely little place to stay.
Spent some time just walking around which is great after 3 days of sitting in the car. Esperance is a beautiful place with a great foreshore area and beautiful beaches though too cold to dip a toe in the water. We checked out the local museum this afternoon. What an amazing collection of everything. If you're ever down this way, check it out.
Tomorrow will be a day in Esperance so will spend a bit of time just looking around.

  2. The foreshore looks great. Shame it wasn't warm enough to dip your toe in. One day we will get there. Just like you will get over here one day. A few more vehicles to contend with than you though. Hardly a 4wd in sight, except the odd Range Rover. Lots of little cars. That's because there is no where to park big cars. Or because petrol is currently £1.14 (nearly double!!!). I'm enjoying your blog too. Keep it going.
